"When you walk, your step will not be hampered; and if you run, you will not stumble."
Proverbs 4:12
"Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28
Matthew 11:28
"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith..."
-Hebrews 12: 1-2

noun
the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties; toughness
I recently bought a bouquet of flowers that was on sale. A few leaves were sad,
but I figured there was nothing some good water and sunlight couldn't fix. So
I splurged and dropped my $ 1.99 for this bouquet to greet me every afternoon when
I came back from class. In particular, the pink little guys pictured in the bottom left
surprised me the most. I think the other flowers in the bouquet were overcrowding these
guys and that made them premature when I bought them. Okay... so you may be thinking
that I am digging way too deep into this whole flower concept. My point is sometimes we
have things in life thrown at us fast. We often get frustrated with God because we don't
think that we are ready. The flowers I bought that were no more than lil' buds ended up
thriving on my window sill. They actually lived longer than the rest of the bouquet (still going
strong). As I walked in my room this afternoon, I realized that my pink guys were
blossoming! They were resilient in pursuit of growing, all the way from the Kroger
clearance section. Sometimes when life throws us curveballs, we need to be more like
these flowers. No matter where our circumstances may find us, be resilient in pursuit of
our goal: to blossom.
